Reaching customers today is difficult for local business while competition is fierce consumers are spending is down. But advertising costs are high and is not very effective as customers are no longer willing to listen to your message. The answer: follow the customer.

When people want to buy or research a product their first place to search is on the internet.  When they find someone local to buy from their next action is to look for comments about the seller.  Positive comments from earlier customers will encourage them to buy from you.  Positive comments from online friends will have the buyer dialing your number.

  • If they don’t see your business in the search results they won’t know you exist.
  • If they don’t see positive feedback from friends they won’t call you.

The solution is to build an online community in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.) where your customers meet, talk to and help them, deal with any complaints they may have.
